About

The engineering degree never quite left.

I came to design sideways, through mechanics and technical drawing. I still think about a product the way I was taught to think about a part: what it is for, and what breaks it.

What I look for[focus and background]

I focus on products that are difficult to make clear.

Clinical tools, dense SaaS, and products with too many states or audiences pulling in different directions. That has been the centre of my work for five years.

  1. 2021

Started in mechanical engineering, ended up running the web and graphics team for a national tech symposium.

    Never went back
  2. 2021

Ranked in Upraised's Embark programme, which is where I learned to think about design as a discipline rather than as taste.

  3. 2022

Healthplix. Built my first real design system and found out a system is a way of not having the same argument twice.

    Reported ~20% less handoff time
  4. 2022 – 23

Consult Anubhav. Led design on Draftsy, a team-based fantasy sports product across mobile and web. Found Framer here.

    Reported 20% engagement increase
  5. 2023 – 25

Duggup, as founding product designer. A web and mobile product launched to a new community in its first year.

    2,000+ users in week one
  6. 2025 – 26

CodeBuddy. N1 Care, a clinician-focused platform built around reviewable records, insights, and reports. Sole designer across product, system, and documentation.

  7. Now

Looking for the next one that is genuinely hard to make clear.

The clinician reads one part of it and the patient reads another. The solid block is the state they both need, and they need opposite things from it.
